Actress Oma Nnadi Speaks on Her Type of Man

oma nnadiFast-rising, Imo State-born actress, Oma Nnadi, has elected to talk about an unusual trait in her life, that is, what constitutes her weakness in a relationship. The actress says she believes in constant communication with her man.
“If I am dating you and you don’t communicate frequently with me, it not only makes me feel bad, it equally makes me withdraw from you. But some girls don’t care. Maybe, it is because I am not the kind of lady that dates two men at the same time. So, if I’m dating a guy, I give my all in the relationship. I want a situation where I can always pick up my phone and put a call to my man.
Speaking further, Oma who shot herself into limelight starring in films such as ‘World of Lust’, ‘Delicate World’ and ‘Nowadays’ and ‘Illuminati’ explained why she doesn’t flaunt her boobs indiscriminately, declaring that she’s reserving herself for her man.
“If it’s about exposing your boobs, I don’t indulge in such things. I like to cover up a lot.”
According to Oma, “If I’m playing a role where I’m required to put on a bikini, I would prefer to get into the pool with my towel before doing so. I like to cover my body a lot. I think every woman’s body should be preserved. Let your man be the one that will see your nakedness and not the whole world. I am old enough to take my decisions. But I have decided not to expose my body indiscriminately.”
Oma is one of the fast rising actresses in Nollywood who has refused to be influenced by the lifestyles of her colleagues in the industry. Ever since she debuted in Nollywood about 12 years ago, Oma has maintained a low profile, not because she wanted to.
But because, “There are things that do not agree with the way one is brought up. Everything has to do with your background. I was brought up in a way that I didn’t need to be loud or to seek attention. You have to let your work speak for you. Genuinely, acting has always been my passion. I have always loved to act. And I’m not into acting because I want to be famous. No, I am into acting because I have a strong passion for it.”
Oma Nnadi also spoke about a man who once broke her heart, but later came back to propose to her. “I was naive while l growing up. It got into me then, because I was very young. It happened that the guy I was dating then, whom I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with, was married. Somebody broke the sad news to me that he actually travelled out of the country to marry his girlfriend who was based abroad.
“When I heard the news because I was enjoying the relationship, I broke down for nearly two years. Later, he returned to me, attempting to tell a lie. But I wouldn’t give him a second chance as I picked the broken pieces of my life and moved on. That happened when I was in year one in the university. I am wiser now.
